Wilus Inc. today signed an MOU and license agreement with HUMAX NETWORKS, a global top-tier Wi-Fi equipment supplier. The two companies have agreed to develop and jointly commercialize next-generation commercial Wi-Fi products and services leveraging their respective strengths.
Wilus develops new Wi-Fi technologies based on a deep understanding of the core technologies of next-generation Wi-Fi standards, while HUMAX NETWORKS boasts excellent product development and production capabilities. With the signing of the agreement, the companies will begin full-scale R&D.
The Electronic Times, a leading Korean ICT publication, has published a new article authored by Wilus Inc. vice president of standards and innovation Dr. Juhyung Son on the importance of the 6 GHz unlicensed frequency band.
The article highlights the importance of the 6 GHz frequency band in both WLAN and cellular standards, including Wi-Fi 6 and Wi-Fi 6E. It also discusses the current state of research and technology related to the 6 GHz unlicensed frequency band.
